The server is non-Indian and very hospitable.....so that's new :).....I like this place. No complaints in terms of food or service. The only complaint here is I wish this location (and all NOLA Subways for that matter) carried Giardiniera peppers. It seems an oxymoron to live in the spice/flavor capital of USA and not have one of the most delicious pepper medleys that exists....but maybe it's a french-italian conflict thing.

This place is quick. That's about the only thing going for it. Bread tastes like raw dough, store doesn't keep sandwich fillings stocked. Line is run like a slop house kitchen, unfriendly employees who just throw each sandwich together. Must be easy to not care how this Subway is run, when they do such a high volume from hungry travelers. What a shame.

Somebody, please advise me if I'm going nuts here. Perhaps it's because I've never worked in a Subway sandwich store before or maybe I'm just missing the point. But could someone please explain to me why a double meat 6" sandwich would cost more than a footlong sandwich. The double meat on a 6" is exactly the same amount of meat you'd get on a 12". AND, you're not even using the other 6 inches of bread, much less the extra condiments that it takes to "dress" a footlong as compared to a 6 inch. However, I could not get the clerk to understand this and charge me for a 12" sandwich. When I asked her why there is a difference on the price, she stated that she had to account for the bread. I told her she could charge me for a 12", whereby the bread would be accounted for, and she could simply throw the other 6 inches of bread in the garbage. I even told her she could eat the bread herself, just charge me accordingly. But I guess this would involve some sort of a higher thought process and she gave me a look like she was utterly confused. Since I was starving, it was New Years Day with nothing else open nearby and there was no manager on site, I took my overpriced sandwich and left. However, I will speak to the manager tomorrow out of principle. Am I missing something here???????????????

You have got to be kidding me, I only wish I could give zero stars. The women working their with their crappy attitudes, huge eyelashes that look like there gonna fall off and their lack of knowledge on how to properly make a sandwich ( if you dimwits are reading this there's 10 slices each salami and pepperoni on the footling spicy Italian) they tried to give me 5 of each and then argue with me. They never wash their hands, their excuse is the gloves their wearing. It doesn't work if you touch everything else and food. Stay away and get something else, Rouses market across the street has a huge selection and great attitudes.
